The Flow module in Videoreach is what is used in Videoreach to simulate an interaction with your Patients/Members. A flow is made up of different sequential steps. Each step contains a:
- Video
- Informational or Question text
- Responses (Only needed for Question text)
Using a combination of steps, you can simulate an interaction with your Patients/Members at the right time and the right moment.
Here is how you build and activate a Flow:
- Login to your Videoreach account by going to videoreach.run and clicking on login.
- Once inside Videoreach, click on the Flow menubar item on the top right.
- Scan through the list of Flows or search for a flow name to ensure you haven’t created the flow before.
- If not found, click on the Add a Flow button on the top right.
- Provide the following details about the flow you are about to create:
- Flow Name: It is recommended you name the flow something that is easily found and describes what the flow is about.
- Tags: This is not required.
- Language: To indicate what language the flow is in.
- At this point, you can either just save the name of the flow by clicking on Done, I’ll add steps later and come back to add these steps.
- OR, what we recommend is click on Continue to add steps.
- You will see a confirmation message indicating that the Flow has been created.
- Click on Add a step text.
- Enter a step name in the text box and hit ENTER. It is recommended that you enter a step name that provides some kind of sequential order and a descriptor to each step.
- Click on Add a Video and upload a video from the video library. View this article to understand how to upload videos into your video library.
- Click on Add Text
- You can either add an Information only step. In this case, the Patient/Member will not be asked any questions but just shown the text and the video.
- Or, you can pick a step that requires the Patient/Member to provide a response. In this case, you have to type the question text for the Patient/Member. And, then you can select what type of response(s) you want from the Patient: Single Select or Multi-select.
- Repeat #10-12 for each of the steps you want to add.
- Click on Save and Exit.
- You will be back on the Flow lists view and notice that your Flow is in Draft status. Each new flow first goes to draft status.
- Hover over the flow you just created and click on the 3 vertical dots to the right. You can eiher:
- Preview the flow
- Add more steps if you want by clicking on edit steps
- Once the flow is ready, click on the 3 vertical dots in the flow list view to Activate it.
- Once activated, the flow can NOT be edited.
- That’s it!! :) You just successfully created and activated a flow.
