Setting up Visit Type

Videoreach allows you to create multiple Visit Types for all the users to use in your Videoreach instance. Visit Types are used to classify the different types of visits that you want to track for your Patients/Members. These can be Appointments, Surgery Types, Procedure Types, Virtual Visits, etc. Think of the various Visit Types that your EHR supports and these can literally be a copy of those. Remember that a Visit Type is important to add a Visit Date/Time for a Patient and it is also important to create a Program.

  1. Goto videoreach.com and login to your videoreach account.
  1. Click on Visit Type menu item upon the top right.
  1. Scan the list of Visit Types already created, to ensure that you aren’t creating a duplicate one.
  1. If not there in the list, click on the Add a visit type button.
  1. Type in the name of the Visit Type you want to setup. Keep a few things in mind:
    1. The Visit Type you setup should be easy to understand by you and the others.
    1. It is recommended that you use the same Visit Type labels as your EHR or other legacy systems for less confusion.
    1. You are allowed a maximum of 100 characters.
    1. Remember that this is just a classification of the types of visits you will have with your Patients and/or Members, not the actual visit date/time. Think of this as configuration.
  1. If you want to add multiple visit types, you can add them at the same time by clicking on the + Add Visit Type text.
  1. If you need to delete any visit types, then just click on the trash icon next to the one you want deleted.
  1. Once done with all the Visit Types, click on the Add button.
  1. You will then see the Visit Types list refresh with your visit type(s).
  1. That’s it!! :) You have successfully setup Visit Type(s) for your Videoreach account.
